President's Message

Church leaders in the 21st century have to ask themselves a very critical question: What does a church need to grow?

There are many theoretical answers to this question. A wise man once wrote that a healthy church needs to grow warmer through fellowship, deeper through discipleship, stronger through worship, broader through ministry, and larger through evangelism. How do we accomplish these fundamental principles in the 21st century? My belief is through technology.

In my own lifetime I have seen religion wane and I have come to realize that the viability of the Church and the preservation of its values, like many other things, lie in the hands of our youth. Schoolteachers recognize this phenomenon and reward students with high aptitude in academics. This recognition leads to encouragement and growth.

Who then recognizes the ideals instilled in children?

Who encourages them to develop strong faith that promotes congregational longevity? Most importantly, who has the attention of our youth in an unstructured environment where no schoolteacher or role model exists to guide them?

The media recognizes the value of the youth’s attention and tries to influence them during vulnerable years of personal growth and development. The medium - the Internet - has made it easy to exploit and promote negative images, role models and ideas.

Our company has recognized the power of technology and the necessity to integrate it with Christian values through today’s most effective medium. With so many competing influences drowning the voice of the Church, congregations need to embrace change and begin harnessing the technological advantages of the 21st century.

Faith Partnership Technologies also understands the difficulties associated with transitioning century old customs and traditions. Our mandate is to embark the Church on to a modern form of media enabling it to have the same advantages as other leading organizations. Our products and services have been developed and adapted specifically to the needs of the Church, with the goal of empowering the Church to affect the culture around it, rather than be affected by it.

We are now at a critical point in history, and something needs to be done to ensure that Christianity is not only preserved, but continues to thrive through our youth and loyal congregants. This critical moment in history can borrow inspiration from Psalm 126:2, “Our mouths were filled with laughter, our tongues with songs of joy. Then it was said among the nations, ‘The Lord has done great things for them’”. The Lord has done great things, and our mission is to help spread that message in today’s language.

On behalf of the Board of Directors and staff, I would like to thank you for your commitment to Faith.

Gabriel Fanous, President and CEO.
